Corporate Opportunities

  Volunteer with us as an alternative team building experience! We have a wide range of volunteer opportunities for corporate groups. Your team can share your knowledge and expertise by leading a legal, financial, health or other skill based workshop, help out Volunteers of America's programs by hosting a fundraiser, sponsor a beautification or maintenance project at one of our residential facilities, host one of our monthly birthday parties, an ice cream social, a holiday celebration, or other event at one of our residential facilities, or coordinate a donations drive. 
 
According to Business Insider (May, 2011): "Corporate volunteerism helps improve job satisfaction among employees, but it also provides benefits to employers in the form of an enhanced corporate image, a more positive corporate culture, and better financial results."

Corporate Volunteer Spotlight

May 4th, a group of employees with DCL Mooring & Rigging volunteered at our Veterans Transitional Housing Facility, where they replaced a segment of fence, painted a veranda and landscaped the Veterans' garden.  DCL is a long-time partner of VOAGNO, and they will be volunteering again in the fall at one of our Community Living Services Homes.
