'The Terraces’ For Seniors Coming To Mid City This ambitious new housing development on Tulane Avenue is in the works.

It's part of our Coming Back Home initiative to provide more affordable post-Katrina housing.

Volunteers of America has long been active in supplying affordable housing to persons in need.  After the hurricane, our expertise and experience are more valuable than ever because affordable housing is scarce throughout south Louisiana. 

We reopened The Duvernay Residence, affordable housing for formerly houseless persons in recovery, less than a year after it was damaged by the storm.
