Reach For The Stars Society

The Reach for the Stars Society is an elite giving society of individuals, foundations and businesses who have pledged a significant five-year commitment to Volunteers of America.

Our Reach For the Stars Breakfast, an emotional and information-packed event held annually in November at the Jefferson Orleans, raises significant support for people in need. Year-round, we offer inspiring Tours of our programs, which feature opportunities to meet people whose lives have been transformed by our services.

Because of the Reach for the Stars Society, Volunteers of America will be able to touch our neighbors’ lives in the following ways:

  • Reach more at-risk young people who have ability and drive to turn their lives around, but need some support and direction.
  • Help more of our elderly neighbors to age safely in their own homes.
  • Continue providing quality, supportive services to children and adults with disabilities so that they can as independently as possible – despite state budget cuts.
