Long before he was an NFL star, New Orleans Saints Tight End Jimmy Graham was a teen in foster care. An adoptive parent brought him into her family and changed his world.

Now, Graham is helping Volunteers of America find forever families for other kids like him, full of promise and hope. Graham taped a TV message to raise awareness of the great need for adoptive parents for children in foster care who are available for adoption.

Volunteers of America works with Wendy's Wonderful Kids, a signature program of the Dave Thomas Foundation For Adoption that finds forever families for local foster children.

There are about 1,000 children in foster care in our state, and thousands more nationwide, who are eligible for adoption and seek parents.

As a long-time leader in all areas of adoption, Volunteers of America has experience and expertise in serving newborns and older children needing forever families, adoptive parents and birth parents.
