All of us have experienced stressful economic times. Everyone is working harder to protect investments and provide for our families. As tough as it has been for those of us with jobs and resources, imagine how hard it's been for our more vulnerable neighbors, especially children at risk?
These are the children Volunteers of America helps daily through programs that make a difference in their lives. During the holidays, we ask that you help us extend a hand up to these children by contributing to our Spirit of Giving campaign. Our programs continue to help kids regardless of economic conditions. The children we serve depend on constant support. With your help, we can provide it.
As I move into my first year as Board Chair of Volunteers of America, I see how our organization is blessed. Volunteers of America is healthy, active and committed. I am so impressed with the work of previous Board Chairs, our organization's leadership and the caring way each staff member touches lives and builds community. It is a privilege to be a part of Volunteers of America.
One of our great blessings is kind, generous donors who affirm our mission.
Whether you already support Volunteers of America or give for the first time, I thank you. I wish you the best the holiday season has to offer, and thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
Kurt Moloney
