Joe W. and Dorothy Dorsett Brown Foundation
The Joe W. and Dorothy Dorsett Brown Foundation is a long-time friend of Volunteers of America Greater New Orleans. Over the years the Brown Foundation has generously supported our programs serving veterans, persons with disabilities, adoptive families, people recovering from substance abuse, as well as our volunteer and children’s programs.
Home Depot Foundation
Since beginning its partnership with Volunteers of America in April 2011, The
Home Depot Foundation has pledged
more than $4 million to the organization over three years to benefit
homeless veterans by repairing and renovating properties where veterans and
their families live. Each project includes numerous opportunities for Team Depot
volunteers to get involved as well. Together, we have been able to refurbish or
build housing for more than 1,000 homeless veterans and many of their family
members.
Cox Communications
Cox Communications has been a longtime supporter of Volunteers of America Greater New Orleans' Reach for the Stars Breakfast and the annual GolfStar Classic.
Methodist Health Systems Foundation
Methodist Health System Foundation has provided support for our new initiative, Fresh and Healthy Social Enterprise and the annual GolfStar Classic.
Capital One Bank
Capital One Bank is long-standing supporter of our Adoption program. Capital One has also supported our Reach For The Stars Breakfast, our Single-Room Occupancies, Lighthouse Program and Veterans Program.
Entergy Corporation
Entergy Corporation generously and actively supports our programs, including the Lighthouse after school program for inner city kids, Single Room Occupancy facilities, and our workforce housing initiative.

ForeKids! Foundation
ForeKids! Foundation raises money for several children's organizations through golf tournaments. ForeKids! supports Volunteers of America Greater New Orleans by providing the TPC Louisiana course for our GolfStar Classic tournament, which benefits our Adoption program.

Patrick F. Taylor Foundation
Patrick F. Taylor Foundation is a supporter of many military organizations. They also provide support to the Volunteers of America Greater New Orleans transitional housing program for homeless veterans and Lighthouse after school program.

Wendy’s Wonderful Kids
Wendy's Wonderful Kids is a national initiative of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. Wendy's Wonderful Kids has worked with the Volunteers of America Adoption program for many years.
